SCC HB01 Hydro Band is to be used in conjunction with SCC Waterproofing systems where reinforcement is required to ensure a homogeneous and seamless waterproofing coating.
Common applications requiring reinforcing with SCC HB01 Hydro Band would include lap joints, overhangs, parapet walls, roof ridges, roof screws, and skylights, or other areas where two substrates are to be joined.
SCC HB01 Hydro Band is suitable for use in conjunction with SCC waterproofing systems, acrylic and bitumen based waterproofing systems.
Preparation | Application
Surface Preparation:
Ensure that surfaces are dry, in sound condition, clean and free from any contaminants such as dust, dirt, rust, salt, algae and grease. Remove all loose materials mechanically, then thoroughly clean surfaces with a suitable surface cleaner. Metal surfaces must be free of rust. Metal surfaces must be primed with a suitable metal etch primer (including screw
heads.)

Follow the application specifications of the product or system that the SCC HB01 Hydro Band is to be used in conjunction with.
