Description

Contite Seal AC is a cementitious crystalline waterproofing treatment designed to protect concrete against water penetration. When applied to a properly prepared, damp concrete surface, it penetrates the substrate and reacts to form insoluble crystalline structures within the pores and capillaries, helping to reduce permeability and provide long-term waterproofing protection.

It is suitable for concrete slabs, basements, water-retaining structures, construction joints and other concrete surfaces requiring protection against water ingress.

Characteristics / Advantages

  • Provides crystalline waterproofing within the concrete substrate.
  • Helps reduce water penetration and concrete permeability.
  • Forms a permanent subsurface waterproof barrier.
  • Air-curing product; conventional curing is not required.
  • Can be applied as a slurry by brush or spray.
  • Suitable for new and existing concrete applications.
  • Can be used on concrete slabs and water-retaining structures.
  • Can be used for construction joints, cracks and honeycombing repairs, following the technical instructions.
  • Can be applied as a dry shake on suitable fresh concrete applications.
